Season 9: Mythical Wishes

As the Season of Light in Pokémon GO comes to an end, Trainers will see their wish for an exciting new Season granted: Mythical Wishes! This new Season will bring new events, spawn rotations, changing bonuses, and more to the world of Pokémon GO!

Mythical Wishes: Make a wish!
There will be three different events during the Season which will allow Trainers to choose their own bonuses from three Timed Research tasks.
Trainers will receive all standard Season bonuses, and will also be able to choose between XP, Egg Hatch, or Stardust bonuses.

GO Battle League: Season 13
The start of the Season of Mythical Wishes also signals the start of season 13 of GO Battle League

Seasonal Changes
This upcoming Season will also bring changes to spawns, egg hatches, and more. A new feature for Pokémon spawns will be the appearance of XXS and XXL Pokémon! These new Pokémon sizes will appear visually smaller or larger than their standard-sized counterparts.
Research Breakthrough
This Season, weekly Research Breakthroughs will have a set of potential Pokémon that Trainers may encouter: Galarian Mr. Mime✨, Delibird✨, Bagon✨, Deino✨, Furfrou✨, and Goomy. This will be the first time Trainers have had the opportunity to encounter a shiny Galarian Mr. Mime!

Biome-specific spawns - these Pokémon (and more!) will be spawning in certain real-world habitats:

Increased Incense effectiveness while moving
Guaranteed Gifts from Poké Stop spins (up to bag limit)
Continuing increased damage for Pokémon participating in raids remotely
One additional Candy per trade for all Trainers
One guaranteed Candy XL per trade for Trainers level 31+
Open 40 Gifts from friends per day
Send 125 Gifts to friends per day
Seasonal stickers will be available from spinning Poké Stops, opening Gifts, and the in-game shop.
