Other Pokémon News

Steve Aoki, DJ/Record Producer/NFT Artist, has opted to capitalize on the TCG market by selling $3,000,000 worth of Pokémon cards through Mystery Boxes (via TCGplayer) that will also include merchandise that includes clothing, records, meet-and-greets, and more.

As we are writing this, everything is now sold out.

My journey into card-collecting was initially about connecting with a new community, as the pandemic made it impossible for me to play shows, tour or be with my fans. As my love for the hobby grew, I started thinking about new ways to bring the products that got me hooked on collecting to a community that has embraced me from the start. I look forward to dropping new products on TCGplayer every week!

Click here for more information, but note that these boxes were likely to be of more interest for fans of Steve Aoki rather than Pokémon fans.
