The new teaser was accompanied with the following statement: ‘Flying true like an arrow in the Pokémon UNITE arena’.
In addition, a teaser of a potential winter-themed event was also shared from the official Nintendo of Europe Twitter account, where one can see Greninja battling Articuno in what seems to be a winter-themed map. Be aware that Articuno was available during BETA, only to be replaced by Avalugg when the game officially released on the Switch.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl

New to Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Ramanas Park is a facility players can visit after entering the Hall of Fame. There are caves dotted throughout the park, and the chambers inside them are filled with a mysterious atmosphere.
Inside the rooms of Ramanas Park are pedestals, and it’s said that if players insert a slate into its corresponding pedestal, a Legendary Pokémon will appear. It’s unclear exactly how these slates can be obtained, so players will have to do some research while exploring the Sinnoh region.
Some of these Legendary Pokémon can only be encountered in one game version or the other, but players can still try to get them on their team through other means, such as by trading with other players. In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, it’s possible to encounter Raikou, Entei, Suicune and Ho-Oh. In Pokémon Shining Pearl, it’s possible to encounter Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia.
Online Communication Features
For players looking forward to Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, there will be a software update (v. 1.1.0) available on November 11, 2021, ahead of the games’ release. With this software update (v 1.1.0), players will be able to enjoy communication features in the Grand Underground and Super Contest Shows, receive special items via Mystery Gift, and visit Ramanas Park after entering the Hall of Fame.
At launch, a maximum of two players—yourself included—will be able to battle and trade Pokémon in the Union Room. A software update will be released in the future that will allow for additional players to join you.
Finally, if you have played one of the following games (and have play records on your Switch), you will be able to add a Mythical Pokémon to their team.
Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield
Speak to a gentleman in the flower field located on the southwest end of Floaroma Town to get the Mythical Pokémon Jirachi as a companion.
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
Speak to a madame in the flower field located on the southwest end of Floaroma Town to get the Mythical Pokémon Mew as a companion.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Trainers who have played Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield will be able to take on a research request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in which they’ll have a chance to add the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin (Land Forme) to their team. They’ll also be able to claim a Shaymin Kimono Set designed after this Mythical Pokémon.
The request that allows players to meet Shaymin (Lande Forme) will be available to accept in Jubilife Village after viewing the game’s end credits. Players can claim the Shaymin Kimono Set by speaking to the clothier after joining the Galaxy Expedition Team.
Shaymin (Land Forme)
It’s said the blooming of Gracidea flowers confers the power of flight upon this Pokémon and that feelings of gratitude are the message it delivers.
