Happy New Year, Trainers! January is almost here, and it's time for the monthly overview for everything Pokémon GO in January:
Research Breakthrough

Onix will be available in your Research Breakthrough, and can be shiny ✨. In your Breakthrough you may also find some Steelix Mega Energy.
UPDATE: "Due to an unforeseen issue, Research Breakthroughs in January will not be rewarding Steelix Mega Energy. Instead, Timed Research will be available from Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, January 31, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. local time that will reward a total of 200 Steelix Mega Energy." Weekly 1 PokéCoin Bundle
Just like during the last months, every Monday a bundle will be available in the Shop for 1 PokéCoin, containing a Remote Raid Pass and some other items. This is a one-time-only purchase each week.
