Pokémon GO Holidays 2021

2021 is coming to an end fairly soon, and the holidays are approaching. No matter how and where around the world you celebrate them, we all wish you the best for this holiday season! Just like other years, 2021 will have a special Pokémon GO event to celebrate the holidays coming up and this year we can expect Bergmite's arrival, together with much more.

Keep in mind that this event has two parts! If only available in a certain part, it will be clarified.
The Season of Heritage Story Continues
The Season of Heritage will be ongoing during the rest of this month. Our Pokémon GO Team Leaders Blanche, Candela and Spark will be taking it easy this time. Nothing new to report here, it seems. Time for some hot chocolate, anyone? ☕

New Game Features: Postcard Book
A big part of Pokémon GO has always been playing together with your friends. Whether you live close to them, or play with them from a distance, friends have always played an important role. The Postcard Book will be introduced, so Trainers can save memories from locations they or their friends have visited. You can pin Postcards in this Postcard Book to save them.

Holiday Cup

The Holiday Cup will be played with the following rules:
Pokémon must be under 1500 CP
Only Normal-, Grass-, Electric-, Ice-, Flying-, and Ghost-type Pokémon are permitted
Event Bonuses
During the full Holiday event, there will be several Bonuses available:
You can open up to 45 Gifts per day, and store up to 40 gifts in your Item Storage at once 🎁
Mega Abomasnow CP boost
Team GO Rocket will bring more Ice- and Water-type Pokémon into battle

Every day during this part of the event, you will receive a free Egg Incubator when spinning your first PokéStop of the day! 🥚
Timed Research
Not one, but TWO Timed Research lines will be available during this part of the event. The focus of these Research lines will be on friendship and catching Pokémon. When completing the Research you can earn fun surprises and rewards, such as an encounter with Galarian Mr. Mime! 🤡
