Pokémon GO Content Update: December 2022
As November draws to a close, it's time for the monthly overview of everything coming to Pokémon GO in December:
Mythical Wishes: Seasonal Bonuses
During the month of June, the Season of GO kicks off. As a part of the Season of GO, there will be the following bonuses this month:
Increased Incense effectiveness while moving
Guaranteed Gifts from PokéStop spins (up to bag limit)
Continuing increased damage for Pokémon participating in raids remotely
One additional Candy per trade for all Trainers
One guaranteed Candy XL per trade for Trainers level 31+
Open 40 Gifts from friends per day
Send 125 Gifts to friends per day
Seasonal stickers will be available from spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and the in-game shop.

Research Breakthrough
📅 December 1 at 1:00 p.m. → March 1, 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8)
This Season, weekly Research Breakthroughs will have a set of potential Pokémon that Trainers may encouter: Galarian Mr. Mime✨, Delibird✨, Bagon✨, Deino✨, Furfrou✨, and Goomy. This will be the first time Trainers have had the opportunity to encounter a shiny Galarian Mr. Mime!

Community Day
The December end-of-the-year Community Day event will take place on December 17 and 18 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local time). December Community Day will feature all Pokémon previously featured in Community Days in 2021 and 2022. Stay tuned for more details as they're announced!

The following other in-game events will be coming to Pokémon GO in December. More details will be added as they become available:
Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day
📅 Saturday, December 3, from 2:00 p.m. → 5:00 p.m. (local time)
Mega Swampert, Mega Sceptile, and Mega Blaziken will make their Pokémon GO debuts during this three-hour Mega Raid event! The Pokémon caught following these raids will know their Community Day exclusive moves, and will have increased chances of being shiny✨! Trainers will be able to receive up to 5 additional free (orange) Raid Passes from spinning gyms during event hours. A paid ticket will unlock additional Raid Passes and bonuses. Full info here.
