March Community Day: Sandshrew

March's Community Day will feature Sandshrew, the Mouse Pokémon, in both its Kanto and Alolan forms! During Community Day event hours, Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew will be appearing much more frequently in the wild.

Event Bonuses

• 1/4 Hatch Distance (for Eggs placed in an Incubator during event hours)

• 3 Hour Incense (when activated during the event)

• 3 Hour Lure Modules (when activated during the event)

• AR Snapshots will reward Trainers with a "surprise"

• Event-themed stickers from PokéStops, Gifts, and the in-game shop

Exclusive Moves

Evolve Sandshrew between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (local time) on Community Day into Sandslash that will learn the following exclusive moves:

Sandslash: Night Slash (Charged Attack)

• Trainer Battles: 50 power

• Gyms and raids: 50 power

Alolan Sandslash: Shadow Claw (Fast Attack)

• Trainer Battles: 6 power

• Gyms and raids: 9 power

Special Research Story: Gritty and Glacial

A ticketed Special Research Story, Gritty and Glacial, will be available in the in-game shop for $1 USD (or the equivalent pricing tier in local currency) closer to the day of the event.

• Free Ultra Ball bundle: an Event Box containing 30 Ultra Balls will be available in the shop at no cost

• Community Day Box: a one-time purchase Event bundle will be available in the shop for 1,280 PokéCoins and will contain:
