Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day

Mega Debuts
Mega Swampert, Mega Sceptile, and Mega Blaziken will make their Pokémon GO debuts during the Heading to Hoenn Mega Raid Day. Remember: you'll encounter them in their non-Mega form after completing a Mega Raid, but will earn Mega Energy to be able to Mega Evolve them again. This event will be the only chance to earn Mega Energy for Swampert, Sceptile, and Blaziken until the Hoenn Tour in 2023.
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses will be available during the Raid Day event hours:
Pokémon caught from Mega Raids will know their exclusive Community Day Charged Moves:
Sceptile: Frenzy Plant
Swampert: Hydro Cannon
Blaziken: Blast Burn
Increased odds of encountering shiny Sceptile, Swampert, and Blaziken after completing a Mega Raid
Up to five additional free (orange) Raid Passes from spinning Gyms during event hours
Paid Event Ticket

A paid event ticket will be available in the in-game shop for $5 USD (or the equivalent pricing tier in local currency) that will grant additional bonuses. Trainers will also have the option to gift a ticket to their in-game friends (Great Friends or higher)!
The following bonuses will be included with the paid ticket:
Six additional (orange) Raid Passes from spinning Gyms (for a total of 12)
1.5x XP from Raid battles
Double Stardust from Raid Battles
Increased odds to receive Rare Candy XL from Raid rewards
