Halloween Mischief 2021 Event

As the Season of Mischief continues, it is time for another event in Pokémon GO during this Season: Halloween Mischief. This event will take place from Friday, October 15, 10:00 a.m. → Sunday, October 31, 8:00 p.m. (local time). Halloween Mischief is devided into two parts, and some features will be available during the whole event, and some only during one of the parts.

The Season of Mischief Story Continues!

The Season of Mischief is still going on; for more information on the Season of Mischief, click here. If you complete this Season’s Special Research story, you’ll gain access to a special event at the end of the Season that might have something to do with Hoopa!

A new part of the Season-long Special Research will unlock during each part of the Pokémon GO Halloween Mischief event. With more Psychic-, Ghost-, and Dark-type Pokémon appearing in the wild – along with new ones being discovered for the first time ever in Pokémon GO – this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the Mischief Pokémon!

Halloween Cup

📅 October 15 → November 2

The Halloween Cup will be available in GO Battle League from October 15 until November 2, following the same format as during Halloween 2020. This Cup is played in Great League, meaning there is a CP limit of 1500 CP. In the Halloween Cup, only Poison-, Bug-, Ghost-, Dark-, and Fairy-type Pokémon are permitted. Special and Timed Research

Special Research Story: What Lies beneath the Mask?

A new Special Research Story will be available, called What Lies beneath the Mask? Learn more about Ghost-type Pokémon, as Professor Willow guides you. With Yamask spawning in the wild, Professor Willow is interested in Ghost-type Pokémon related to masks. What will we discover during this research?

Timed Research

Aside from the new Special Research a Timed Research will be available. This research will be focused on participation in the Halloween Cup in the GO Battle League.

Pokémon GO Halloween Mischief Part 1: Creepy Companions

The first part of the Halloween event, has a central role for “creepy companions”: Psychic- and Poison-type Pokémon that can’t wait to be encountered and befriended, as well as other friendly, creepy Pokémon. On top of that, the Hexpert Pokémon, Galarian Slowking, will make its debut in Pokémon Go and for the first time, Spinarak can be shiny ✨.

With the start of this event, the next part of the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research will unlock. After completing this Special Research story, you’ll unlock access to a special event at the end of the Season. Is the appearance of strange Pokémon in GO related to Hoopa’s rings? Galarian Slowking

Galarian Slowpoke has been able to evolve into Galarian Slowbro in Pokémon GO, but with the start of this event, Galarian Slowpoke can also evolve into Galarian Slowking! To evolve Galarian Slowbro into Galarian Slowking, set the Galarian Slowpoke you want to evolve as your buddy in the game, and catch 30 Psychic-type Pokémon.
