Everdale: Supercell's new game centered around co-operation, now in Beta
Supercell, Finnish game developer studio famous for addictive titles such as Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars, has announced today a brand new IP for mobile: Everdale! With building games on the rise in popularity in the last few years, it's no surprise to see Supercell taking a swing at one themselves.
Everdale sets itself apart from Supercell's previous titles with its peaceful tone and by evolving around co-operation and friendship. In short...
'Your Village is actually part of a larger Valley, where you and nine other players work together to build a big, wondrous utopia! In the Valley, you’ll meet an eclectic cast of characters, make handcrafted goods and trade with merchants from far off lands. More still, you can jump into local adventures, and level up your villagers at the esteemed Valley Guilds.'
This new IP, centered around peace, co-operation, and building/crafting, comes in among a set of games that are, generally, focused around conflict. Luckily, considering the lack of experience of Supercell with games centered around co-operation and team-play, the studio opted to release an alpha version under a completely different brand in order to gather feedback, study unique social and team-play trends, and learn about this new concept as a whole.
Everdale is available, as of today (August 23, 2021) on iOS and Android in the following regions:
Canada
Denmark
Finland
Iceland
Sweden
Switzerland
United Kingdom
Australia
New Zealand
Singapore
Hong Kong
Philippines
Malaysia
